Zero-Knowledge proofs (ZKP) is on the rise, with Polygon launching Zk-EVM last quarter we are seeing more protocols adopting this tech in order to scale up transactions. A zero-knowledge proof is a way of proving the validity of a statement without revealing the statement itself. The ‘prover’ is the party trying to prove a claim, while the ‘verifier’ is responsible for validating the claim. State of Zero Knowledge 2022 Survey reveals over 40% of respondents find ZKPs will be highly important in the DeFi, Metaverse and Web3. We strongly believe this narrative will play an important role in mid 2023.
