Assets With Major Dormant Token Movement During the Market Volatility

At the time of this writing, the vast majority of cryptocurrency assets have slid at least -20% over the past week. With this type of price movement on the tail-end of a mostly stellar 2021 comes a high degree of price polarization.

When price polarization exists, we look for the projects out there that are beginning to heat up with dormant tokens being moved away from long-standing addresses. While many coins stay stagnant during price volatility, those that show movement on Santiment's Mean Dollar Invested Age charts can foreshadow a healthy potential turnaround for those coins, in particular, when markets begin looking bullish again.

Take a look at the last six years of Bitcoin's Mean Dollar Invested Age metric (pink line). Notice how major bull runs tend to begin when the average age of investments begins to fall, highlighted by the green zones. And alternatively, note how Bitcoin's price becomes very volatile when there is a long-term rise happening on this Mean Dollar Invested Age metric, highlighted by the red zone:

When we see these major movements in mean dollar invested age in one general direction, we can clearly use this as a validation of where prices should be heading next. With this said, we've highlighted six assets that are showing signs of major dormant investments moving addresses and circulating tokens at a healthy degree. Let's take a look:
