How to use Insights: Traders/Investors

Traders/Investors:

The easiest way to get started with Insights is to begin writing them as a personal “journaling” exercise to capture your thoughts and ideas, or to validate or test your trading decisions. As we like to say, plan your trades, and trade your plan!

Later, if you wish, you can start sharing with others how you approach the market. We will immutably save whatever you publish, so your reputation builds over time. You will also be able to benefit financially from the “market value” of your insights in the future.

Key areas with the most value (and interest) to  our community:

Analyses of crowd sentiment. This is our main focus, as crypto is still primarily sentiment-driven. Insights are welcome regarding the market as a whole, and also related to specific coins.

Calling tops and bottoms, or whether or not a current trend is sustainable. We are looking for unque insights here. These insights can come when you spot a specific crowd pattern. The pattern could be a continued series of “hopes” even though the market keeps falling, or “concerns” when the market starts growing (wall of worries). There can be many of these patterns and all of them are important to locate. Just one rule - don’t push for them. Once you see one - it will become clear to you. And it always should be “the majority/crowd” pattern (for the whole market or for a coin/vertical)

We also appreciate input in other areas, such as:

Basic TA analyses. Keep it visual and simple.

Advanced TA. We love Elliott Waves. But only if you really know how to use them. If your methods don’t work for more than 50% of your analyses, better avoid posting it. And, probably subtle but very important. The proper EW analyses always comes together with the “crowd mood” analyses. So, bring both of them, if you can.

Analysing the on-chain data. We have it here (ask for access to our closed-beta). Or use whatever you have access to.

Thanks for reading!
